SKETCHES OF LIGHT & LAND is where I share stories between travel and home.

I take you into the English countryside, along quiet country lanes and to remote farms. I share stories heard around kitchen tables, from shepherds working high in the hills with their dogs, and from artists whose work is shaped by the landscape around them.

Every journey eventually leads me back to our small farm in the north of the Netherlands, bringing home new stories, inspiration and recipes.

Here you'll find my travel stories, alongside Farm Notes from life on the farm, the vegetable garden and my farmhouse kitchen, where I cook with homegrown produce, sustainably sourced local ingredients and flavours gathered along the way.
